Reagan has been awake since 6 am. My child has never enjoyed sleeping. Who wants to sleep when there is so much to do?! Ugh. But this mom needs some serious make up sleep time, especially after Sunday night when Reagan ended up in our bed, terrified of monsters---and then proceeded to spend the rest of the night clinging to me (and me pushing her off of me..it was so hot!!) and grinding her teeth!! Can I say how glad I am that we don't co-sleep anymore?!
Methinks today will be a nap day. Oh yes. NAP DAY.

For Josh
My dear husband says I haven't posted anything in a while, so here you go Josh. The reason I haven't posted anything lately is because I've been super busy (and yes, reading a great many amazing books-more on those later) and dieting and super tired. That's our life in a nutshell right now. I've lost 14 pounds! Yah!!
And by the way, as I'm writing this, Reagan is discussing with Josh how old 20 years is. When he said she was only 16 years from that, she revised her position and said 41 was old. Gee, thanks.

I have decided
that I can do this:
(from Kitchen Fun With My Three Sons-an amazing blog chock full of goodies like this!)
or this:
(from The Inspired Room, yet another amazing decorating blog that I'm obsessed with..)
or this:
(homeschooling Reagan)
But I CANNOT do all three. And I don't think God expects me to. What I do think God expects me to do is stop growling and frowning at my child all the time, stop berating her, START letting her be a kid, let go of the expectations that I have for myself and the failures that those expectations bring and just simply do what it is God is leading me to do.
