Monday's Tips and Tricks

I'm participating in Monday's Tips and Tricks over at Homebody today. Head over to check out some wonderful ideas from other women around the blogosphere!

Ok-here's my tip: I keep a Tupperware container in the back of the van filled with disposable cups, plates, utensils, napkins, bowls, paper towels, hand sanitizer, plastic baggies and (currently frozen) wipes. I also include juice boxes and several bags of snacks--goldfish, raisins, rice cakes, etc., and of course, a blanket (and for those of you with younger kids--I also keep a travel potty!) This way, whenever we decide to have an impromptu picnic at a park, or take a road trip to the larger city near us, or Reagan just gets hungry--we have something right with us! Definitely makes my life easier!

  1. Great idea! My kids are always getting hungry in the car. Being prepared is much better than hitting the drive thru!

  2. That's a good idea! Wish I had been so prepared when my kids were smaller, but even now it could come in useful.
    Thanks for joining my party!

  3. I love it! Whenever I was pregnant, I always used to keep nuts in the car so that I could have a high-protein snack that was salty. It helped me not to buy food while I was out. I also keep a water bottle and 4 small cups for my kids, in case they get thirsty.
