If you saw my post yesterday with all my great buys, you're probably wondering what I'm going to do with such an odd assortment of food. So here, you go! The menu for the next two weeks:
**NOTE: Actually I purchased waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more food than a family of three can eat in two weeks, but I do like to keep a stockpile of food for emergencies. I truly believe you can never be too prepared for anything. (And yes, I probably will be one of those people with a bomb shelter in my backyard one day!)**
Wednesday: BBQ Chicken Pizza (with homemade bbq sauce!); carrot and cucumber salad
Thursday: White Christmas Chili; corn muffins
Friday: Chicken pot pie with vegetables
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: Roast and Cornbread Salad
Monday: Shredded BBQ Sandwhiches with cucumber and tomato salad
Tuesday: Baked fish with Perfect Potatoes
Wednesday: Saucy Baked Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes
Thursday: Homemade Breaded Chicken Patties with mixed vegetables
Friday: Shredded beef enchiladas or tacos
Saturday: Various leftovers from freezer
Sunday: Chicken Vegetable Chowder with biscuits
Monday: Fish, green beans, baked potatoes
Tuesday: Sloppy Joes (homemade) with carrot-raisin salad
Wednesday: Homemade Family-Style Macaroni and Cheese and vegetables
Breakfasts: Cereal, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, toast, yogurt
Lunches: leftovers, sandwhiches, soup, fruit, vegetables, yogurt
Snacks: pretzels, fruit, homemade cookies, yogurt
Desserts: All American Mini Apple Pies, homemade Granola Bars
