"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path of destruction"-Thomas Jefferson

would have been Pritsha's 12th birthday. I want to write about her..but I still can't without sobbing. She was amazing. I miss her so much. And for my friends that have said so many wonderful things and thought about me in the last two weeks, thank you so much--it's amazing to have such good friends that understand the pain and loss that I'm going through.

  1. Leah, I'm so sorry about your furbaby :(

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my Easter tree. Maybe if you can't find little chicks in your town you could do something like draw little chick faces on yellow jellybeans.

  2. Been wondering how you were. Am sorry about your kitty, and I know it hurts. When my first cat died, 10 years ago, we had a photo of her taken way before she died, in her favorite pose, and a friend of mine painted a picture, in poster size, on a canvas, for us. It's on my wall today. It kept her "with me" and I could remember her as she had been, and helped me a bit, to smile when I looked at it!
