Just wanted to let everyone know there is some interesting legislation being brought up regarding Post Partum Depression. While I'm not usually one for politicians being involved in my healthcare (please pass the socialism....), you may want to take a look at the information being offered up if you're interested in women's health care...and that should be everybody...yes, even men...even single men who might possibly get married one day and have a wife that has to, God forbid, deal with this horrible disease.
Now, I'm not saying I support this legislation, but this is a subject that is very near and dear to my heart. So, in that light...if you have moms, sisters, aunts, cousins, friends or whatever! that have children and have had to deal with this or might have to deal with this in the future (or if you happen to be someone going through it right now), here are some great sites to offer some additional help.
I really encourage everyone to make themselves as aware of this horrible condition as possible--women need help and spreading education and letting them know they are not alone is the best way to do it!
