Show & Tell Friday

Show and Tell
I've decided to participate in Show & Tell Friday! Yah! I know you're excited ;) Here is what I'm showing:
And here is what I'm telling! These cones are some of my favorite household items! I picked them up a few years ago at JoAnn's during one of their summer clearance sales... 10 cents for each of the two smaller ones and 30 cents for the larger one! Needless to say, I couldn't pass that up! I adore them..first of all, they're the exact colors of most of the decor in my home...dusty blue, off white and rusty red; secondly, they have glitter!! WOOHOOO!!; third, they were cheap!; and finally, they're really patriotic and therefore, special to me!

They have a place of honor on the side of the fireplace! Oh, on a side note, they were originally designed to hold candles inside, but I've never been able to quite figure out how to do that! And on a decor note, always try to group things in odd numbers..it just looks better. Thank you for allowing me that Martha moment!

  1. Seeing these as part of your decor did not surprise me at all; in fact, my first thought was "oh, those are so Leah." Very you and a great deal to boot; what more could you ask for in home decorating?

It would probably be AWESOME!!! I will have to see if you have posted any pictures of your rooms, I hope so.

  8. Now if those were mine.... I would turn them upside down and make them into "cones" and make a wire hanger... and fill them with neat/vintage things :-)
