Show & Tell Friday!

Show and Tell

Ok, I have a confession to make. This show and tell item is really not 'mine'...ok, well it sort of is. Let me explain. I had them made for my daughter's room, but since she isn't really old enough to declare that they're 'HERS' yet, I get to claim them ;) And I adore them! The paintings were done by a local artist and were renditions from the book "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie".

If you look closely, you can see the blocks in one of the paintings actually spell out Reagan's name. The three mice symbolize myself, Josh and Reagan and the picture of the little girl is supposed to be Reagan all 'grown up' in her little wooden rocking chair! Every time I look at these paintings they make me smile and I hope it's something Reagan can pass down to her children!

  9. They are so cute. I love it that they are especially made for her. Nice post.

I just read about adopting. I talked with a woman at McDonald's one day who was in the process of adopting her 2nd white newborn baby boy. She said it is free in Oregon. I cannot believe it! She said it was true. I live in Oregon, but I have not looked into it myself. I have four of my own, and so I am unfamiliar with adoption. I do not know if you have to be a resident of Oregon to participate in the free adoption or not.

I pray that you will be able to adopt and without great expense.

    Blessings~ Kathi
